Case Study A4 - Antibody Identification (Eluate) - Answer (Question 1)

  • Only anti-Jka cannot be excluded by the panel.
  • Anti-Jka in the eluate reacts 1+ with cells from donors who are homozygous for Jka and reacts w+ with donors who are heterozygous JkaJkb. The antibody has been concentrated in the eluate and is reacting slightly stronger than in the patient's plasma.
