Controls - ABO grouping Cells* RT - IS 4° C - 15' Screen Cell 1 0 0 Screen Cell 2 0 0 Screen Cell 3 0 0 Autocontrol 0 0 * The autocontrol can detect if a cold autoantibody such as autoanti-I is present (which would react with both A1 and B cells). The group O screen cells is included to detect possible cold-reactive alloantibodies such as anti-N, -P1, and -Lea (whose corresponding antigens may be present on either or both of the A1 and B cells).
The patient's ABO group was determined to be group B.
